Jo MacLennanDirector Jo MacLennan is a University of Glasgow Masters graduate in Business and Management and trained in mediation under Professor John Sturrock, QC. Jo is an appointed mediator on the Edinburgh Sheriff Court panel and MacLennan Norman is a member of the Scottish Mediation Network.
Jo holds a number of Non Executive Director positions, her portfolio includes: Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, Link Living and she also sits on the British Red Cross Lothian Ball Committee.
Jo’s career began in the corridors of Whitehall at the Department of Health and took her through to the top tiers of Public Health in Scotland, with a particular interest in preventative health and inequalities. She has worked nationally across NHS Health Boards and collaborated with Local Authorities and Third Sector organisations- leading on major reform programmes at the Scottish Government.
Jo’s Government career has enabled her to work closely with Scottish Ministers and the Permanent Secretary. She has a key interest in supporting the private, public and third sectors to work in collaboration with one another to enhance and improve Scotland’s economy and leadership.
Jo’s work as a business coach has given her the privilege of working with a wide range of executive and senior leaders across a wealth of large organisations across all sectors.
